Hi friends I am Sambit. Happy to see you that you people gave me love and inspired me to continue my next adventure. It's about how I and some of my friends alongwith few people cought fish from the village river. Well it's a very exciting experience that I'm going to tell you.
It was the sunny days. Like in the month of Vaisakha and Jesthya i.e May and June month. It's so hot that the water bodies in our Village are started drying. So we got an opportunity to cought some fish and make a delicious fish item to our feast.
So before we catch fish we properly made plans for this. At last we decided to do it on a Friday. It was good. Before that we decided to find Rs.200 each and we are 8 people. On the Friday we woke up at 5 O'clock early on the morning.
We took kerosene oil, a motor pump, pipes, fish net. We also took dishes, rice , mustard oil, and other necessities for our feast.
So coming back we first go to the village river. It was located on a jungle area. So first we prepared the motor pump and started pouring out the water from the river. Also we closed the ways of water on the located area on the river from the both side. It took 3 and half an hour to empty the closed area. And then we started pouring out water using our mugs etc. At the very moment we see some fishes popping up from the mud.
And we catch fish one after another. And we gathered 7 Rohi fish and half bucket of some little fishes. We thought our money was wasted but we cought another 4 Mira fish which are hiding in two feet mud. We were so happy to cought them.
Then we wash ourselves and the fishnet. It was 10 O'clock at that time. So without delaying a single moment Siba my friend started removing the scalps from the fishes and cut them into a good piece. I started to lit the chullah. It was so annoying to lit it. The smoke was aching my eyes. But I took the risk as it's tastier to make food with it. My friend Kunu washed the dishes and started cooking. You have to admit it that he's cooking really good like a master Chef. It's like 10.30AM.
He cooked the rice. We took 500gm rice total . Then he started the fish curry. All those cut fishes are coated with salt and haldi. He cooked that curry too. It took him first 15min to fry it and then took 20min to make it curry. It's 11 O'clock now. We also carried onion, lemon, tomato, curd for our salad. And a Coke for drinks. That day we feast very well and enjoyed it with Coke. After that we took our stuff and returned our home.
That day at the evening we go to the village pond where our Village god Lord Balunkeswar Dev arrived for the local festival called 'Danda Yatra'. It was a very good adventure that people should do it at least once in their life.
Thank you for staying. Keep sharing this story.
