Surviving a day as a Beggar in Mexico City

Hello guys. Welcome to my blog. Today i have a plan to make my day but in a different way than the usual. Today I planned to be a beggar for whole 24hrs. And gain an experience of a beggar. Also I can understand their life, their pain and the way of their living. So yeah Let's begin this experiment.

It's 18th Jan 2023 and it's 8AM now. Well to be a professional beggar I dressed up like a real beggar. I grew my beard and put some dirt on my face. Lol it's a little bit funny . But to fit in my act i have to do that. Then i went to a garbage dump and searched for a board. After few minutes I found a board but it was wet. So I threw it and searched for a good board. Luckily I got a desired board. And then i requested a person to write few lines on it. The lines were like "This is a best day But I can't enjoy it in my house". It has a meaning that I'm a homeless person who can't live in my house. This will make people realise that I'm facing sunny, rail and cold and hot temperature being not having any house.

It was now 8.45 AM in the morning. No one will noticed to my board. Suddenly a young kid in high school noticed me and come near to me. He was sad and asked the reason of my homeless. So I made an immediate reason and said him that fire cought to my house and I lost it. It was happened in 2nd Jan 2023. This New Year was bad luck for me. Since 15 days I sleep under this situation on street. I have no money to have food. No blanket to wear in night. He felt bad for me and gave me $0.50 cent. It was fun for me. But at the same time I also feel about other persons who really felt this situation and are unlucky. They had real problems are have courage to survive in the world. 

To survive in this City we have to use our skill rather sit on a place and wait people for their donations. Coming back to me there are so many people passing by me and noticed to my board. Some donated me like $1 or $2. After few hours it was mid day and it's 1PM . And I got $8. So i go to a restruants and asked for some food. And the waiter also gave me some food for free. He gave me a sandwich. It was delicious and ok for me to delay my hunger. After I ate that sandwich I moved place to place and asked people for my surviving. I hardly passing my time . As I was maked up as a beggar so I had no shoes. So it was so hard to walk on the street. Walking for hours my feet got screwed and I was unable to walk. And looked measurable now. 

In search of food and money I travelled in subway platforms, streets and bus stops. But one thing I noticed that people are too kind to give you things. People feel happy to give you food. And getting food for living in this lifestyle is so easy. You can get food at least from 8 people in 10. But it's little bit hard to get money from them. In this mean time one guy came to me and started video recording on me for his vlogs. It's now 5PM. Evening time. He was a high school guy. Named as John. He was studying Social Work. He gave me $10. I asked him that how can he donated such huge amount to me. He said me that the video he recorded on me will upload on internet and earn millions on it. So i surprised a little bit. It's evening and it warned me the cold situation. But I still continued my journey to get a bedsheet atleast. Otherwise I will be dead out of cold. So in search of a shelter I moved place to place. I request people for food in the same time. And they gave me also. Now I ate a cup of coffee in morning, a sandwich in 11AM, a sliced pizza after few minutes, and now I got a hamburger. It was given by Mr Struat. He's such a very kind person. 

After searching for a shelter I found a forbidden garage. There were so many rusted cars. And I gave thanks to God for arranging a shelter for me. As it was abandoned so I got scary of the bullies or drug dealers. But all thanks to God. He saved me from them and from the immense cold. And with this the 24hrs challenge for becoming a beggar was winded up. That day I collected $13.50. But people gave me food. 

My Opinion

That day I know something that there are two types of beggars. One is the real people who actually suffers a lot for food shelter and so many other things for living. They even don't have money for their shaving or buying a soap or shoes for their living. They spent all the money they got that day . They have no savings. They really suffers a lot. They also looted by the bullies. 

Coming back to the second type these are the method artists and professional beggars who begs for their earnings. They are not actually suffering. They misrepresenting their selves in such a way that people gave them money. And these are some millionaire beggars. The Mexico Govt should recognise them and send them to jail for their worst act and misleading the people.

Solution

So as to solve these problems we should understand their problems first. And then give them a purpose for living rather begging all the day. This will make their skill to work and eventually make them richer. Thank you.
